The Start of PANJ

PANJ began with a question: why not create something that starts with gratitude?
My Persian heritage, my grandmother and the memories I carry have always been part of me. In Bali, I found the space to bring those influences into something new.
What stayed with me was the care I saw for Mama Bali, Mother Earth. The morning offerings, prayers in the background, the jungle and the endless views of rice fields. Small rituals of gratitude, woven into everyday life.
Giving a feeling its first shape
I knew I wanted to create something inspired by my culture and by this island. Clothing made with natural materials, with movement in mind. Something that felt authentic.
The early notebook sketches, the first identity taking shape on screen and patterns being cut in Bali are small records of that beginning. Before the collection and before the runway, there was an idea worth exploring.

A beginning we can share
PANJ is about connection to our roots, to nature and to one another. I wanted to create more than clothing. I wanted to bring people together through movement, creativity and shared stories.
A community where we can express ourselves, learn from each other and feel that we belong. This is where PANJ began.
