Eco Print Visit

Sarah and Arry with fresh leaves at the Ecoprint workshop

A leaf. A hand. A print. A closer look at the making behind PANJ’s botanical pieces.

At the Ecoprint workshop in Bali, Sarah and Arry lay fresh leaves across fabric and bind it tight. The process brings the collection’s connection to nature into the material itself.

Every leaf leaves its own mark

The botanical shapes are impressions of real leaves. Their placement and colour vary from piece to piece, giving each print its own character.

That variation is part of what draws PANJ to the process: a relationship between a material, the natural world and the hands working with it.

The people behind the pieces

Community also lives in the making. Showing the workshop and the people involved is a way of sharing more of the story behind the clothes, beyond the finished image.

These photographs offer a glimpse of that collaboration in Bali. the leaves before the print, the work at the table and the moment a botanical shape is revealed.
